Rearcross made the trip to Moneygall last Saturday morning in an U11 league tie. The first half saw chances missed from both sides with Aaron Lenihan comming closest for the visitors following a great passing movement between Aaron and Tristan Deegan. Rearcross came under increasing pressure from the home side and despite a fine performance by the Rearcross defence Moneygall eventually found the net before the break. The second half saw a more dominant performance from Moneygall however Biran Hammersley managed to pull off some fine saves in the Rearcross goalmouth to keep the visitors in contention. With the increasing pressure being piled on the Rearcross defence it was inevitable Moneygall would be rewarded further and so it was midway through thee second half the goals started to come for them. A comprehensive victory for Moneygall however Rearcross showed good potential throughout the game in their first U11 League game of the season.
